Advance Your Murine Immune Research:

Win a free pilot project

Winners will be announced on May 16, 2025.

Olink® Mouse Cytokine Grant Program

Are you studying immuno-oncology, inflammation, or the immune response in mice? This is your chance to enhance your research—without using up your budget.

Olink and Cobiomic are offering researchers based in the EU, Norway, Switzerland and UK a chance to win a free pilot project, giving you access to high-quality immune biomarker profiling with the Olink® Target 48 Mouse Cytokine panel—all run by top-tier Olink technology experts.

What You Will Get

  • High-quality immune biomarker profiling – Measure 43 key immune mediators using minimal sample volume (see assay list and product details).
  • End-to-end service – Olink technology experts at Cobiomic will analyse your samples (full plate, 40 samples) and deliver high-quality data you can trust.

Why Apply?

  • Win a free pilot project – Gain translational insights, strengthen your study, and fast-track your path to publication.
  • Get robust data – Your samples will be analysed by Olink-certified experts using the rigorously validated Proximity Extension Assay.
  • Preserve precious samples – Maximize insights while using minimal sample volume.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your research with next-generation protein biomarker profiling. Apply now!

Program Details

Abstract submissions will be accepted until April 16, 2025.

  • Submit an abstract (max 300 words) proposing a pilot research project that uses the Olink® Target 48 Mouse Cytokine panel. An internal scientific committee will review and select the winner based on research creativity and innovation.
  • Projects that leverage the panel’s low sample volume requirement to promote ethical mouse research are especially encouraged (e.g. microsampling, repeated sample collection from the same mouse for longitudinal studies with fewer animals, adoption of low-invasive handling methods for sampling).
  • Applicants must hold primary research positions and must be planning to submit a grant application to support a broader research aim for which they need pilot data. Applicants may not hold current awards directly related to the proposed research.
  • Two (2) winners will be selected and will be awarded a full plate (40 samples) each, of Olink® Target 48 Mouse Cytokine. Olink’s Certified Service Provider Cobiomic (Córdoba, Spain) will process the selected winner’s samples from sample reception to data delivery (csv files).
  • Winners will be announced on May 16, 2025. The winner must ship samples to the designated site before June 15, 2025, after a consultation meeting with an Olink specialist. Shipping and handling costs are covered by the winners.
  • Samples (mouse plasma, stored in EDTA) should be delivered to Cobiomic in 96-well plates randomized and ready to run, where randomization refers to the random assignment of samples to plates and wells where the experimental variables of interest (e.g. case, control, treatments) are distributed over the plate.

See Terms and Conditions for challenge rules and eligibility. By submitting, you agree to the challenge’s Terms and Conditions.
