Olink® Mouse Cytokine

Grant Program

Olink and Psomagen are organizing a Grant Program for researchers in the U.S. and Canada performing murine immune protein biomarker studies.

We are thrilled to announce the Olink® Mouse Cytokine Grant Program, an exciting opportunity for pre-clinical and translational researchers in immuno-oncology, inflammation, and the immune response.

Capture translational insights from minimal of sample volume

  • 43 immune mediators crucial for immuno-oncology, inflammation, and immune response studies (see assay list and product details).
  • Minimal sample volume requirement enables in-depth disease modelling and longitudinal studies while preserving precious sample and promoting more ethical research.

Program Details

Abstract submissions will be accepted until April 16, 2025.

  • Submit an abstract (max 300 words) proposing a pilot research project that uses the Olink® Target 48 Mouse Cytokine panel. An internal scientific committee will review and select the winner based on research creativity and innovation.
  • Projects that leverage the panel’s low sample volume requirement to promote ethical mouse research are especially encouraged (e.g. microsampling, repeated sample collection from the same mouse for longitudinal studies with fewer animals, adoption of low-invasive handling methods for sampling).
  • Applicants must hold primary research positions and must be planning to submit a grant application to support a broader research aim for which they need pilot data. Applicants may not hold current awards directly related to the proposed research.
  • Two (2) winners will be selected and will be awarded a full plate (40 samples) each, of Olink® Target 48 Mouse Cytokine. Olink’s Certified Service Provider Psomagen (Rockville, Maryland) will process the selected winner’s samples from sample reception to data delivery (Quant, NPX, Raw Ct, QC Report).
  • Winners will be announced on May 16, 2025. The winner must ship samples to the designated site before June 15, 2025, after a consultation meeting with an Olink specialist. Shipping and handling costs are covered by the winners.
  • Samples (mouse plasma, stored in EDTA) should be delivered to Psomagen in 96-well plates randomized and ready to run, where randomization refers to the random assignment of samples to plates and wells where the experimental variables of interest (e.g. case, control, treatments) are distributed over the plate.
